Context /
As an eSports platform, tournaments are our main focus.
We offer both solo and team competitions. However, we have found that the registration completion rate is poor, resulting in a bad user experience.
Problems /
The tournament registration process is particularly challenging for teams, leading to a poor user interface, inadequate information, and a cumbersome process.
Goals /
To optimize the the registration process, improve the completion rate, and enhance the overall experience for participants, organizers, and platform.

Understanding Data
Upon analyzing the data through Google Analytics, it became evident that steps 3 and 4 of our team registration process are underperforming compared to the solo registration process.
Shockingly, only 20% of users successfully navigate through these steps and complete the team registration. This poor user experience raises concerns about potential deterrents for participants and the overall growth of our eSports platform.
Let's see what's going on about the current process flow...

Brainstorming /
By discussing the user journey with the team of tournament operators, engineers, and stakeholders, I listed out the pain points and opportunities each steps.
We came out interesting ideas to solve the problem for the registration step 3 and 4.
